Chapter Sixteen: Characters.

Ushien Stormbringer, : NPC, Human female. Our party has never actually met this character. We know her only through her deeds. But, having immersed herself in Ushien’s writings, Elodie feels like she is at least somewhat acquainted with the storied warrior. As a Novitiate in the Order of the Gauntlet, Ushien proved her courage and resourcefulness when capturing Gristlegums, the Hag of Trollskull Manor. By the time that Elodie and her friends seek to meet with her, Ushien is a battle-hardened General. A valiant veteran, having served with honor in the brutal Cult wars that raged in the Desarin Valley, she now leads the Knights of Samular. Unfortunately, this places her far out of Elodie’s reach, as this militant order is quartered in Summit Hall, in the Sumber Hills. Still, Saer Savra fought alongside Saer Stormbringer in those terrible conflicts. Surely there are many more tales that she can tell of Ushien’s heroism and of their time together! Even if she seems a little…grim…to hear any mention of her old comrade. Elodie is confident that, once she and Saer Savra also grow in friendship and trust, her new mentor will share the reason for her odd melancholy and fully confide in her freshly-minted fellow knight. Elodie still has much that she would learn about Ushien Stormbringer.
